Jerry Oakland served as a United Methodist pastor and district superintendent in Iowa for 32 years prior to moving to the Cedar Rapids area in 2011. Jerry has served on numerous church and community boards and agencies, including helping to start a food pantry, a women’s shelter, and a children and youth advocacy coalition. Jerry received his certification as a church business administrator and has worked with persons concerning church finances, stewardship, planned giving, and endowments. He and his wife Barb have three grown daughters, three sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. |
