Materials for building your Bat Box will be available for pre-purchase for $20, and you will be able to pick up the materials prior to our Facebook Live event on April 24 at 5 pm. During the Facebook Live, you’ll be able to follow along, comment, and ask questions as our Green Iowa Americorps team leads a demonstration on how to build your own Bat Box. About Bat Boxes: Bats are key pollinators in many ecosystems, and having a small shelter on your property will attract these beneficial mosquito eaters, without having them create nests in eaves or attics.
