Mold your own mushrooms

Join our Urban Farmer Zach at the Cultivate Hope Urban Farm and learn how to easily grow edible mushrooms. Participants will get to inoculate and take home one log with shiitake mushrooms. These skills can then transfer over to growing other edible mushroom varieties such as oyster and white button mushrooms. In order to continue growing their mushrooms participants should have a place at home where they can store an inoculated log outside with partial shade.
