Spring Plant Sale

The 2023 Spring Plant Sale is from 10 am-1 pm on Saturday, May 6!

 

In-person shopping on May 6 – All edible plants, herbs, annuals, and perennials will be available to browse and purchase at the urban farm, 437 G Ave. NW

 

Please note: Edible plant starts and herbs will be available for preorder. Flowers and landscaping plants will also be available for purchase during the Plant Sale from 10 am-1 pm on May 6, but will not be part of the preorder. If you have any questions, please email us at cultivate@hub25.org, or call the Matthew 25 office at 319-362-2214.

In-Person shopping details

If you’d like to pick out all of your own plants, as well as browse a selection of gardening-related tools and equipment, stop by the urban farm from 10 am-1 pm on Saturday, May 6. We will have a variety of vegetable plants, herbs, annuals, and perennials. Simply browse our selection, and we will have a register available to complete your transaction. Parking is available on both F and G Avenues around the urban farm, located at 437 G Ave. NW in Cedar Rapids.

Online preorder pickup instructions

  • Please bring your receipt for your order(s), either printed or on your phone.
  • Pickup will be on May 6 from 10 am-1 pm at the cash register on the urban farm. Curbside pickup will not be available this year.
  • If you plan to do any in-person shopping, please do that before going to the register to pick up your online order.

 

Check out the map below to find the best places to park for this year’s plant sale. Please note: online orders must be picked up from the register on the urban farm during the Plant Sale. Curbside pick up will not be available this year.

Your purchase will support the urban farm all season long, allowing us to grow food locally, offer produce at half-price to qualified households, and allow community gardeners to grow their own food as well.
